​

Chartered engineer and architect Thomas Scaviner registered in Germany in the Architects Register of the Professional Association of Architects in Lower Saxony.

​

After graduation in architectural studies, Thomas Scaviner completed an innovation assistant programme within the framework of the technology transfer project of the state Lower Saxony.

​

Thereafter, in the position as Chief Engineer for Turnkey Building Construction at Philipp Holzmann AG in Hamburg, he was responsible for the construction of residential and commercial buildings including the Fit out of Shopping Malls.

​

Thomas Scaviner also functioned on behalf of the clients as project manager for the American Business Center at Checkpoint Charlie and Sony Headquarters in Berlin.

​

During the realisation of these major construction projects, Thomas Scaviner was in charge of the construction and project management for the client. Apart from the organisation and arrangement of the planning and co-ordination discussions, his responsibilities included the contractual formulation on behalf of the clients and their architects and other involved professionals. In addition hereto, he was responsible for the negotiations with the sub contractors with respect to the enforcement of the deadlines, the cost and the quality of the planning and construction works as stipulated in the contract.

Since the establishment of his company A-PLAN in the year 1999, Thomas Scaviner had the opportunity to participate in various international Landmark projects and gained a broad experience in Europe, the Middle East and China.

​

Recent key projects Thomas Scaviner has been involved in include the City Walk Dubai, a urban lifestyle destination, High-rise buildings such as the Capital Gate, Dusit Thani, Sowwah Square in Abu Dhabi and the 2020 Tower in Dubai.
